Hi, I’m Diane

I believe strong leadership does not require self-sacrifice, disconnection, or constant depletion. I believe it’s possible to lead well and stay whole. My work is grounded in that belief.

My Background

I have spent over 30 years working in higher education, in roles ranging from faculty to president, across two-year institutions, tribal colleges, and four-year universities. I have lived inside the systems, the politics, the pressure, and the responsibility that come with academic leadership. I understand what it means to make difficult decisions, to carry competing demands, and to hold the well-being of students, staff, faculty, and communities in your hands.

Over the years, I saw exceptionally capable leaders struggle quietly. I saw people lose themselves in roles they once loved. I saw burnout become normalized. And I saw how often leaders had no truly confidential space to think, process, and be fully human. That experience is what ultimately drew me to coaching.

Today, I bring together my background in higher education leadership with professional training as a Co-Active trained coach (CTI), clinical training as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), and national board certification as a health coach. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). This combination allows me to work with leaders in a way that is both strategic and deeply grounded.

I work with leaders who are accomplished, thoughtful, and often quietly exhausted. Leaders who care deeply about their institutions and their people, but are carrying more than they let on. My role is not to fix you, advise you, or tell you what to do. My role is to partner with you as you think, decide, and lead with greater clarity, confidence, and integrity.
